Cookie policy

Cookies and similar technologies allow a website to remember information on your device and help certain features work properly.

We use them to operate the shop, remember your choices and provide optional features. Optional technologies do not load automatically unless you allow them. A service you deliberately request, such as opening Support, may load when you choose to use it.

We use a small number of essential cookies and similar technologies to keep your basket and checkout working, keep you signed in, remember your cookie and VAT preferences, and protect account and payment activity. These are needed to provide the website and services you request, so they cannot be switched off through Cookie Preferences.

Basket and account session information is kept for up to seven days. Your VAT preference may be remembered for up to 30 days, your cookie choices for up to 180 days, and a short-lived order confirmation record for up to 30 minutes.

Functional cookies support optional features such as saved logos and our customer help centre. They are off by default and can be enabled or disabled at any time through Cookie Preferences.

If Functional cookies are enabled, recent logo choices can be remembered on your device and the OpenWidget help centre may load automatically. If they are disabled, you can still open Support when you need it, and the help service will load only when you choose to use it. Saved logo information on your device is removed when Functional cookies are turned off.

We use Google Analytics 4 only when you allow Analytics cookies through Cookie Preferences. Google Analytics helps us understand visits, page views, navigation and website interactions so we can monitor performance and improve the customer experience.

Google Analytics is off by default and its tag does not load until Analytics consent is granted. We configure its first-party analytics cookies with a maximum lifetime of 180 days.

When Analytics is allowed, we may also set our first-party cw_marketing_attribution cookie for up to 30 days. It can contain the landing page and campaign parameters such as UTM source, medium, campaign, term and content. We may associate this consented attribution record with a completed order so we can measure which campaigns lead to orders.

You can withdraw Analytics consent at any time through Cookie Preferences, after which we stop Analytics collection, remove Google Analytics cookies that we can access from the Classworkwear website and remove the Classworkwear marketing attribution cookie.

With your permission, we use Google Ads conversion measurement to understand whether our ads lead to purchases. This uses consented Google Analytics data and requires both Analytics and Advertising measurement to be allowed through Cookie Preferences.

When both Analytics and Advertising measurement are allowed, the email address associated with a completed order may also be used for enhanced conversion measurement. The Google tag normalises and securely hashes the email before it reaches Google's servers. We configure this explicitly in our purchase measurement rather than allowing Google to automatically detect customer details on the page.

When both Analytics and Advertising measurement are allowed, the Classworkwear marketing attribution cookie may also contain Google advertising click identifiers such as gclid, gbraid and wbraid. These identifiers help us attribute completed orders to advertising campaigns.

You can change either choice at any time through Cookie Preferences. When Advertising measurement is not allowed, our consent settings deny advertising storage and advertising-related data use. Google advertising cookies that we can access from the Classworkwear website are removed, and advertising click identifiers are removed from our marketing attribution cookie. If Analytics remains allowed, permitted UTM attribution may remain until the attribution cookie's original expiry.

You can accept, reject or change your optional cookie choices at any time. Rejecting optional cookies will not stop you from browsing the website, using your basket or completing checkout.

You can also manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking all cookies or browser storage may prevent some essential basket, checkout or account features from working correctly.

Stripe and PayPal provide our payment services and may use cookies or similar technologies when you use their checkout services. Google provides our optional Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion measurement services, Brevo supports our email communications, and OpenWidget provides our customer help centre. These providers handle information in accordance with their own privacy information.
